Does The Inmotion V11 Have Speakers?
If you are looking for a well-rounded workhorse Electric Unicycle (EUC), the InMotion V11 will be a smooth and powerful machine to transport you in comfort.
As it transports you in style, it will dampen the bumps and cracks, making your rides the most enjoyable you can ever expect to get from cruising EUCs around.
But you might be asking, does the Inmotion V11 have speakers?
No! Your InMotion V11 does not come with speakers but as a design for the masses, offering comfort. It has a dual 84V 1500WH battery pack giving a maximum range of about 120 km (75 miles) in ideal conditions.
While tricksters, jumpers, range monsters, and speed demons might be disappointed. Still, others might not even notice their absence due to the loudness of the light fan.
While speakers’ presence or absence is a big deal to some of us, we can get consolation from the fact that you can always have your music play through your headphones.
Again, some sacrifices had to be made for the awesome design you enjoy in Inmotion V11.
Part of these sacrifices, I am afraid, is the absence of speakers and a smaller battery. But I think it’s not a big issue to go without speakers but have an excellent suspension.
How Do You Charge An Inmotion V11?
There are two ways in which you can charge your Inmotion V11. The first option is through dual charging ports.
The dual charging system comes in handy when it comes to reducing charging time.
All you need to use this system is to take advantage of Inmotion V11’s dual 5A charge ports for combined charging with a second charger!
Alternatively, you can make use of a fast charger. Yes, if you can’t bear carrying around two chargers, then this might be for you.
There are two ways to avoid carrying two chargers. First, you can bear with the long ten hours using the 84V* 2.5A charger.
The other one will be using a 5A fast charger to deduce the charging time by two times. The charger comes with USB charging ports.
One thing you want to do after buying your Inmotion V11(Amazon Link) is to bring it to a full charge.
To achieve this, you will want to use either of the two charging methods I have discussed above.
Speed lovers might not enjoy the top speed of 31 mph even on a full charge, as this may be limiting.
But you might want to know that this is the fastest among the InMotion wheels currently. And riders need to access the entire full speed capabilities until a 30% charge level.
When your charge drops below 30%, speed throttling will be experienced.
How Do I Turn On Inmotion In V11?
Turning on your Inmotion V11 on or off is through the Inmotion App. When you order your Inmotion V11, it will come in the “transport mode.”
This mode is meant to prevent the device from accidentally turning and causing havoc while on transit.
In this mode, the electric unicycle will not bounce as it’s being transported. But to unlock your Inmotion V11 from this mode and start riding it.
You will need to command it from the Inmotion App. This is the only way that is currently available to deactivate the transport mode.
So you want to download the App on your smartphone and install it to connect to the V11.
To unlock it, click confirm after the dialogue box appears, showing that your V11 is in transport mode. After you unlock it, the wheels will be able to self-bounce.
But if you will later want to transport the vehicle, it’s recommended to enable transport mode through the App again.
Now, you want to check for a firmware update in the App before proceeding any further.
How Do I Use Inmotion App?
When you buy a smart electric vehicle from INMOTION, you are signing up for an exhilarating experience.
And if your vehicle supports the Inmotion App, you will enjoy more fantastic experiences on top of the product itself.
The App is designed to provide a seamless connection between your Inmotion vehicle and your smartphone via Bluetooth.
This is an App that comes in handy in the control of your vehicle.
In addition to that, the App can be used to do more personalized settings and even make friends with more interesting riders.
However, before you get to enjoy what the App has to offer to you, you need to bind your vehicle with the Inmotion App. So I want to tell you how to do that.
So you want to enjoy the goodies that come with the Inmotion App, you will need to download the App from Inmotion’s official website.
Alternatively, you can still download the App from App Store or Google Play. After downloading it, install it and sign up for the App.
Here is where your mobile phone number is needed. Continue and create a password and hit the Sign Up button. This now takes you to the home of the Inmotion App.
Proceed to bind your vehicle. You can do this in two ways. First, you can hit the “Binding Vehicle” on the page.
Alternatively, you can go to “Settings” and choose “Binding Vehicle.”
Regardless of your entrance, you will get to the interface and will be required to enter the SN number (16 numbers or characters) of your electric unicycle.
Then hit the Submit; This successfully binds your EUC.
But if for any reason you would like to cancel the binding, all you need to do is to click “Delete” behind your electric unicycle that has been bound. That’s all.
How Much Does An Inmotion V11 Cost?
When V11 was launched, it took the world by a tide and has continued to do so. The tide has not subsided.
But retailing at only 2299.00 USD at launch, we can scarcely wait for any less.
Interestingly, V11 has maintained a relatively steady pricing model that has been devoid of any fluctuations.
Comparing the price with what you are getting, I can say that you are getting a deal of a lifetime.
Come to think of it, the suspension and the design, not many electric unicycles can come anywhere close.
But with its competitor, the Kingsong KS18, one can be forgiven to think that Inmotion is a joker.
Why would they adopt such pricing, compared to what Kingsong KS18 has to offer and what it sells at?
Inmotion V11 Battery?
The Inmotion V11 has a dual 84V 1500WH battery pack giving a maximum range of about 120 km (75 miles) in ideal conditions.
These consist of collaborative LG batteries mounted on both sides so that the EUC will run even if one battery fails in the course of the ride.
It’s easy and fast to charge the battery using any 5V / 2.1A USB port via the integrated dual charging ports.
When it comes to other features, your Inmotion V11 and the famous Kingsong KS-S18 are more or less alike.
They have the same motor rating, meaning their power is the same, in addition to enjoying the same top speed of 50km/h (31 mph).
Still, the maximum range for both unicycles does not greatly deviate from each other.
While both the V11 and the KS-S18 enjoy powerful battery packs, Inmotion V11’s battery has more power, making it slightly better output performance.
As stated, V11 uses two separate batteries on either side of the electric unicycle to ensure it’s even on a single battery.
Luckily, you can also talk of smart BMS technology that allows easy monitoring of your battery conditions.
Inmotion V11 Vs. V12: Which Is Better
After riding Inmotion V11 and V12, I don’t think there is any fairness in comparing these two electric unicycles.
These are two different vehicles whose experience is different. But if you still want a side-by-side comparison, you will get more torque with V12.
In addition to riding a much heavier vehicle. And if you consider yourself the speed demon type of rider, you want to get the V12; it will serve you better.
Indeed, V11’s speed will always feel wanting for those who love speed. But the vehicle was never meant for sport. It’s just a vehicle for ordinary folks.
And if you are looking for an all-rounder vehicle, you will want to choose the V11.
Although the V11 will never beat V12 in speed, it’s preferable for commuting due to its suspension and off-road capabilities.
Inmotion V11 Batch 4
With the lovely innovation by Inmotion, its V11 batch 4 comes as an added advantage. Weighing 26 kg, this EUC will cruise at a top speed of 50 Km/h and offer a range of 70 Km.
This is possible due to the powerful 2000 W motor. It comes with a powerful shock absorber system on an 18 ” mount, promising to tear off the bitumen.
Indeed, InMotion’s innovation merged power and design into one electric unicycle. And with an 18 “Off-road tire, this is all you need for your off-road madness!
In addition to this, you will be benefiting from two independent batteries that offer a total power of 1500 Wh.
What’s more, your charging time can be halved by the use of its dual charging port.
Inmotion V11 Specs
Inmotion V11 is a very interesting vehicle that has aluminum allow and rubber for the main material.
With a load capacity of 120kg on a motor power of 2000W, you cannot get it wrong with this vehicle if you want to ride around town.
Indeed, the 1500mAh, 84V battery capacity packs enough juice to last some 75 miles. Now, this is not a short distance.
And how long do you need to charge this beast? 5-6 hours! But if you use a single charger, you can expect to bring it to a full charge after 10 hours.
On your V11, your speed can be expected to max at 31 mph under ideal conditions where you can enjoy a climbing angle of 35 degrees.
And when it comes to riding in the rain, it will bear some light rain, thanks to the IP55 IP rating. Your V11 boasts an excellent cooling system to enhance high performance.
Inmotion V11 Range
The range you get from your Inmotion V11 might differ from what your next-door neighbor gets.
This is normal, as there are different parameters your vehicle will use to “decide” the number of miles you will get from it.
If you are a speed lover, you have to settle for a much lower range than a guy who will settle for a much slower speed.
When I ride my vehicle in the “go home” mode, I usually get 60-65 miles.
Considering that I am significantly heavy, you can expect anywhere around 70 miles if you are a “feather-weight” kind of guy.
In addition to your weight and speed, other things that will affect your range are riding surface and how hard you have inflated your tire.
Inmotion V11 Problems
While your Inmotion V11 is an indisputably amazing vehicle, it comes with its share of troubles and problems.
There are several weak points I have noted with my V11. For instance, some batches have a problem with saddle attachments breaking off at the top.
In addition to this, there is the very irritating issue of over-tightened screws for some batches.
I will never understand why the screws are so tight on some batches. There is also the problem with bearings getting too rusty.
Even after allowing your vehicle to sit for a single week. Still, the shock vent cover has its share of problems.
It’s not uncommon to see the cover fall off on some V11’s. Luckily, this is no longer a problem with the latest batches as it was resolved.
Lastly, the other problem is the stiffness of the anti-spin handle button. This is too hard to press, but it is not as hard on some wheels.
Fortunately, this is a thing you can easily fix with a simple DIY.
Conclusion
The Inmotion V11 does not come with speakers. However, you might not miss out on anything since you might not need them anyway.
It’s not easy to hear any music due to the noise of the wind as you cruise with your lovely beast.
